The Barn is utilized for a full schedule of classes, programs and special events.  Our amenities are available for private rentals exclusively to Power Ranch residents.  

SPACE INFORMATION:
The Barn at Power Ranch has approximately 3,000 sq. ft. of working space, as well as two restrooms, a 9,000 sq. Ft. Event Lawn and a 450 sq. ft. kitchen. The kitchen has three ovens, a microwave, dishwasher, sink, refrigerator, and freezer. There are 150 available chairs and 20 tables (60" Round). The overall capacity of the Barn is 202 people, but the Association restricts that maximum capacity to 150 people if the event is using tables. There  are also six 6-foot rectangle tables available for use.

RENTAL COSTS:
There is a $500 refundable security deposit for the Barn, barring any damages to the facility during the proposed rental. The facility can be rented for any duration of time between the hours of 8 am and 10 pm, Sunday through Thursday, and 8 am to 11 pm, on Friday and Saturday. The rental fee is $100 per hour and must include set-up time, the duration of the event and clean-up time. 


AUDIO VISUAL PACKAGES/OPTIONS:

There are 2 AV Packages available for rent.  Package #1 has a flat fee of $100. The package includes a microphone and speakers as well as your choice of Cable TV, Computer Connection, iPod Connection or BluRay Player.  Package #2 has a flat fee of $50 and includes a microphone and speakers.  

VIEWING THE FACILITY:
The Barn is open for viewing every Wednesday night 5 -8 pm for the Farmer's Market and we encourage residents and their guests to view the venue at that time. If you need to schedule an appointment please contact the Association Office at 480-988-0960 and we will do our best to accommodate a private viewing based on staff availability.

FAQ's
1. What insurance am I required to provide?
Renter is to provide contact information and a Certificate of liability insurance for any companies contracted for the event at least 30 days prior to the event date.  This includes DJ's, caterers, outside furniture/decor rental, etc.

2. Can I have my decorations delivered prior to the event or stored overnight after the event for pick up the next day?
All equipment brought in for your event must be removed from the rental facility at the end of the event.  Nothing is to be kept overnight in rental space.

3. Can I use your tables and chairs outside on the lawn for my event?
Our tables and chairs are to be used indoors only.  Taking tables and chairs outside will result in a forfeit of $150 of your rental deposit.  We do allow outside vendor tables/chairs on the lawn, however these must be rented through an outside vendor.

4. Can we use candles for our centerpieces?
Any candles beside birthday cake candles must be enclosed in a casing or votive container.

5. Are there any restrictions to drinks allowed?
Drinks that contain a red-colored dye are not permissible due to the risk of permanent stains on the carpet and furniture.  This includes red wine.  

6. Can we have alcohol at our event?
If serving alcohol, host liquor liability insurance and a security guard are required.  You may use either an insured Bartending service or purchase a policy through your homeowners insurance or any private event insurance company.  An insured Security Guard must be contracted for the time that alcohol is served.  All insurance certificates and contracts must be provided by the resident at least 30 days in advance of the event. Alcohol cannot be sold.  

7. Can we have a bounce house on the lawn or in the parking lot during our event?
Unfortunately we do not allow any inflatables on the event lawn due to the temporary damage it leaves on the grass and we do not allow any equipment to be placed in the parking lot.  Other barn amenities remain open to residents during regular hours.
